اُمید و بیم

دشت میں دربدر ہیں ، تو کیا ہوا

گلستاں میں نسیم دوبارہ آئے گی

نظام دہر زیر و زبر ہے، مگر دیکھنا

جیون میں روشنی دوبارہ آئے گی

جنگل جنگل جگمگائے گا ایک دن

راکھ میں دھڑکن دوبارہ آئے گی

سوگ ختم ہو گا ، شاد ہو گا دل

نغمہ زن بلبل نظر دوبارہ آئے گی

پہاڑ بھی سر نگوں ہو جائیں گے

تتلی باغ میں نظر دوبارہ آئے گی

English version

Though we wander through deserts, so what?

The breeze will return to the garden once more.

Though the world is topsy-turvy and broken,

Light will shine in life again.

Forests will one day glitter and glow,

From ashes, the heartbeat will rise once more.

Grief will end, the heart will rejoice,

The nightingale’s song will grace our eyes again.

Even mountains may bow and crumble,

Yet butterflies will dance in gardens once more.
